Bright Fox Dayhome is an approved family dayhome in Nolan Hill, in north-west Calgary. It cares for up to six children, from babies to five-year-olds, in the provider's own home.

For its first year and a half, Bright Fox found families through Facebook posts and a basic Google listing, and it had no website.

A website and one local search campaign filled a dayhome in four weeks.

First, we gave Bright Fox a website parents could find.

We built a website with a page for each nearby neighbourhood, the questions parents ask, and a button to call or text the dayhome from any page. It went live in March 2026.

  • A page for each nearby neighbourhood
  • Call or text from any page
  • Live in March 2026

Then we put Bright Fox in front of parents searching nearby.

In late April 2026, we launched a local Google search campaign for the dayhome, at around C$20 a day.

  • A local search campaign
  • Live in late April
  • Around C$20 a day

Then the calls started, two or three a day.

Within days, parents were calling two or three times a day, and there were soon far more enquiries than Bright Fox had places.

  • Two or three calls a day
  • More enquiries than places
  • Calls straight to the provider

Within four weeks, every place was full.

Three new children enrolled from the campaign, and by 21 May every place was filled, with C$393 spent on ads. Bright Fox passed the families it couldn't take to another dayhome.

  • Three new children
  • Every place full by 21 May
  • C$131 in ads per child

A dayhome with places to fill ended up passing families on.

How did Bright Fox Dayhome fill its places?

Bright Fox Dayhome filled its places with a new website and one local Google search campaign. Parents called two or three times a day, three new children enrolled, and by 21 May 2026 every place was full, after C$393 of ads.

Does Google Ads work for a small local business?

Google Ads works for a small local business when people search for what it offers nearby. Families look for childcare close to home, so a small search campaign reached them the moment they were looking. Bright Fox paid C$1.84 a click, and four weeks of ads filled every place.

Can PacedRevenue run Google Ads for a B2B company?

Yes. Google Ads is one of the six ad platforms PacedRevenue runs. For a B2B company, PacedRevenue finds the searches your buyers make when they need what you sell and sends them to a landing page built for that search, so every click has somewhere useful to land.

What does a Google Ads campaign need to work?

Search demand and a page that converts. Families look for childcare close to home, so PacedRevenue built Bright Fox a page for each nearby neighbourhood and ran search ads to them. Every click landed on a page that answered the parent's question and put the phone number one tap away.
